Session Overview -
An Introduction to Agile Project Management
Today’s rapidly changing business environment demands an adaptable approach to project management. Agile was initially designed for software development but today these techniques are applied to a wide range of projects, from information technology to non-profit strategy development and from manufacturing to education. The focus is on empowering teams to collaborate and make decisions quickly and effectively.
In this presentation, Lisa will provide an overview of the differences between Traditional Project Management and Agile, along with guidelines for recognizing which method is appropriate for different projects.

Networking & Informal Discussion Afterward
You are encouraged to stay to chat with fellow GMSHRM members and, perhaps the speaker when available, at the Marriott until 10:00 am. This is in response to member requests to connect with fellow GMSHRM members after the monthly meetings to continue networking and have informal discussions regarding whatever hot topics you are facing. Help yourself to whatever food is still there, but please understand that the Marriott staff will be working to clear the room by 10:00.
