Session Overview

Leadership has always been a multi-faceted, ever-changing dynamic.  Just Google the work “Leadership”  and you will get well more than one billion hits!  Books have been written, courses have been taught,  workshops have been attended and yet there is always more to learn about Leadership.  Then there was  a pandemic and world of work has forever changed.  In this session, we will discuss why leadership is more crucial than ever and how Human Resources can  help support and develop leadership skills for those in supervisory roles.

 Speaker Bio: 

Ross Gibson is leadership and organizational development consultant/facilitator.  As the Chief of  Operations, Employee Benefits Practice at The Richards Group (TRG), Ross works with organizations to help develop positive leadership growth.  Prior to working as a consultant, Ross was Senior Vice President, Global Human  Resources at World Learning based in Brattleboro, Vermont and Washington DC.  Ross has held other  several senior level positions including Vice President, Learning and Organizational Development at Charles River Labs and Vice President, Human Resources at both American Superconductor and  Cambridge Neuroscience, Inc.

·        Programs are submitted for 1 General HR Credit Hour toward PHR, SPHR, and GPHR certification through the Human Resources Certification Institute.
