 Anena Hansen, Employer Services Coordinator - Reality Check Inc

Anena Hansen is a writer, speaker, coach, and recovery educator. She lived eleven years in Kenya, where she served as director of the Economist magazine’s East Africa advertorial interests, wrote for business and travel publications, and taught business skills to professional women in Nairobi from the slums to C-Suite level. Since coming home to New Hampshire in 2019, Anena’s work has focused on addiction and recovery. She currently spearheads the Recovery Friendly Workplace initiative in Cheshire and western Hillsborough counties and is a state and national recovery policy advocate as well as a speaker on substance use and mental health stigma.
