Session Overview:

Here’s the deal: If you want a secure workplace you need to start with giving your employee’s and customers resources designed to keep them, and their families, secure at home and everywhere they go. Why? Because if you can teach them to be secure everywhere beyond work – work will automatically become more secure. But there’s a great benefit that comes with this philosophy: the resources that you give them are no longer considered forced security training but rather it becomes a pure benefit of working for your organization because you are showing them that you care for them not only while they are at work, but that you care for them, and their families, at all times. It also changes forced mandatory training to desired training and instills a desire in them to get better at security because they chose to get better at it rather than because you are making them get better.

This training session will cover the core requirements to keep you, and your family, secure against today’s threats. What you take from it will be immediately usable and “masterable” and it can be done while sitting in a chair just listening.

This is one of the most powerful presentations you will even experience.

Duration: 60 minutes

Speaker and Company Bio:

Terry L Choate Jr

Terry has all of the training and experience that is normally associated with the expertise and ability to consult on acts-of-violence and personal and organizational security. He has been a law enforcement officer and SWAT Team Commander, and has significant training in tactics, crisis negotiation, stalking and dangerous human behavior, executive protection and on-and-on for 16 years and has all of the associated training and experiences that come with this profession. The fact is, however, that training and experience in law enforcement and/or the military does not automatically equate to qualification to successfully consult people and organizations in violence prevention and survival. In fact, this assumption can, and sometimes does, create more danger than doing nothing at all.

Of equal importance, he also has a 20-year executive -level corporate career behind him that he voluntarily ended prior to becoming a law enforcement professional. As a result, he has extensive experience in business, sales and marketing, high-end customer service that sets companies apart from their competitors.

Terry has spent a lifetime learning about criminals - why they are criminals, how they become criminals, how they choose victim and, most importantly, finding real solutions that require extreme knowledge and understanding of the problem and outside-the-box thinking to find real solutions. Terry is the thought leader in real solutions for normal people. Not overly simplistic and failed solutions like run, hide, fight or other silly acronym-based solutions.
