Dues paid are for the calendar year. Membership dues are tax deductible for your company as a business expense. The cost to join for the year will depend on your membership status in the National SHRM organization.
Professional Membership is limited to: (a) Those individuals actively engaged in bona fide human resources administration at the exempt level, who devote more than 50% of their time to personnel or human resources management; (b) Faculty members holding an assistant, associate or full professor rank in personnel or human resources at an accredited college or university; or (c) Individuals engaged in occupations with a primary focus in human resources consulting, support and/or outsourced functions and who provide satisfactory proof of membership of SHRM (national). Professional members: Have the right to vote in chapter elections and may hold any of the offices or positions of the Board of Directors.
Associate members may be: (a) Individuals in non-exempt human resources positions;, or (b) Small business owners whose responsibilities include managing human resources; or (c) Those who do not meet any of the foregoing categories, but have a bona fide interest in human resource management. Associate members: Have the right to vote in chapter elections and may be voting members of committees, but may only serve on the Board of Directors as a Member-at-Large.
Student Member - Active in Chapter (no cost) The Chapter offers free student memberships to those who meet the following requirements:

Student Member - Reduced Fee For those who do not meet the requirements for free student membership, dues are reduced to $15 per year.
Guests may attend 1 meeting at no cost; guests may attend subsequent meetings at the Returning Guest fee, or may join as a member.
